New Volunteer Project: Fair Trade Organization

We took advantage of the calm during the pandemic and went in search of new interesting and meaningful volunteer projects for you. With great results 😊. Our variety of programs is growing, new exciting programs abroad are waiting for you. One of our newcomers is a fair trade organization in southern Chile, in the beautiful city of Valdivia.

The cooperative that oversees the volunteer project was founded in 2009 with the aim of making fair and responsible trade and consumption possible. The cooperative brings together over 200 members, primarily private individuals, and oversees a network of many local small farmers and regional small businesses. There is full cultural integration in this volunteer project. Volunteers can get a taste of different areas of the cooperative. You can learn a lot about the country's culture, language and also societal challenges.
The accommodation takes place in a local homestay, where you live together with Chileans and thus get an unadulterated insight into local life.
