​As I had visited Chile before, I already had a good idea about what to expect but my experience with Chile Inside helped me to gain a greater understanding of the culture and working practices in Chile, it also helped me to develop my language skills so that I could communicate easier.

The language classes were a challenge as I had never studied Spanish before and I feel that the classes began at a relatively advanced level. However, I enjoyed this challenge and I feel that the school was encouraging and that my level and confidence really has improved since beginning the class.

My contact from Chile Inside, Heather, stayed in touch throughout my internship to make sure that everything was going smoothly and I knew that if I had any problems that her replies would always be quick.
Whilst in Chile I did some traveling around Patagonia in the south, Argentina and to the island of Chiloé. It is amazing what diverse landscapes can exist within one country. It really is a beautiful country.

I feel that my experience with Chile Inside has been unforgettable and has helped me to develop many skills which will help me in my future travels and career.
