Right from the beginning Chile Inside responded to my quires with a personal email. I had tried several other organizations that provided the same service, but got no response at all. This was my first trip to Chile and although I had family there I had never met them, so I needed help with a place to stay and a place to study Spanish.

Chile Inside arranged my accommodation and my Spanish classes for two weeks in Santiago and two weeks Spanish lessons in Valparaiso. The place I stayed in Santiago was a short 15 minute walk to school in one of the nicest parts of town, Providencia. The Spanish school was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I made friends from Brazil, Germany, Belgium, England, and even Korea. The teachers were very skilled, kind and supportive.

In Valparaiso I stayed in a beautiful homestay on Cerro Mariposa, a 5 minute walk from Pablo Neruda’s house. I had a beautiful view of the harbour from my bedroom window. The school I attended was tiny and I was one of 2 students in my class. This gave me the opportunity for a lot of individual attention. All along the way Chile Inside was there to help me and guide me. I would highly recommend this organization if you are planning a Spanish immersion in Chile!
