Animal Welfare & Nature Conservation
Volunteer work with Chile Inside
Unfortunately, especially in underdeveloped countries, the understanding of animal welfare and nature conservation is not very firmly anchored. Knowledge about ecological relationships, resource protection and a fair treatment of our animals is not very widespread. This often leads to the air and water being polluted and entire stretches of land being littered, which means that many animals are deprived of their habitat step by step. Furthermore, an inappropriate attitude and irresponsibility in dealing with dogs in the big cities leads to the fact that the cityscape is characterized by many thousands of stray dogs. Real treasures of native flora and fauna are hidden in Chile. Evergreen landscapes, natural wonders, exotic fauna, trees that are thousands of years old and sensitive ecosystems. But here, too, the effects of today's throwaway society have left their mark.
As a volunteer with Chile Inside you can support meaningful animal welfare and nature conservation projects. You can be active in environmental protection and preserve the unique nature. You can work in animal shelters and help animals that have been subjected to inappropriate husbandry. You can work on organic farms and learn more about the principle of sustainability. You can also get involved in environmental education and ecotourism and show people how important it is to rethink. Our animal and nature conservation volunteer projects are wonderful opportunities to learn more about the consequences of human way of life and to take action against it.
